GRAPHIC RECORDING

Do you sometimes take part in conventions or meetings and cannot remember all the content and connections?

Do you organize events yourself in which you want to convey complex ideas to your participants in a sustainable way?

With Graphic Recording you speak to the visual memory of the participants. Through this method complex topics can be brought onto paper or a screen with the help of simple pictures. A “big picture“ emerges, which is stored in our memories.

Additionally, further retention is fostered through the exchanges of the participants during break-time.

The images produced represent an ideal record of the event and are suitable for further development of  the content, for example follow- ups, handouts, etc. Besides that, the “big picture“ is an eye-catcher  and is suitable for long hallways, providing further conversation and motivation to stay focused on meeting topics.

How does graphic recording work?

The visual protocol can be drawn on paper or digitally. In the analogue version, the graphic recorder stands in front of a big paper wall on one side of the room, drawing in real-time and making the contents of the meeting visible for all participants. Over time, a „big picture“ emerges. This is a collection of all previous topics and ideas.

For the digital version, the images are recorded on a tablet and made visible by a projector.

Does that also work online?

Yes. Graphic recording is perfectly suitable for accompanying online gatherings. The simultaneously drawn picture is shared via screensharing, providing each participant visual support, in addition to what is heard.
